Background
The client initially retains Executive Search Ireland to source a Head of Product with the necessary functional, start-up and commercial exposure. Executive Search Ireland meets with the founders, CEO and current Management team to understand the culture and challenges facing the company and glean an in-depth knowledge of the working psychology of the organisation, whilst identifying key gaps on the Senior Management team.
After successfully identifying, attracting and managing the negotiations to secure the very best candidate into the Product role, our ongoing collaboration with the company and advisory on management team composition has seen Executive Search Ireland complete the following assignments:

Process
Our researchers, all of whom have many years experience operating globally across sectors compiled a longlist of candidates from compatible and peripheral type organisations. Subsequent to an in-depth briefing where objectives are agreed, the organisational culture is evaluated and job specifications defined, incl. key responsibilities, career progression, reporting structures, salary & benefits, we determine a schedule and decide upon the initial target market. We then source individuals with the requisite skills and subsequent to detailed qualification, thorough interviews identifying academic, technical, professional and personal characteristics; we submit our selected shortlist. Consequently and post a series of interviews with the CEO and members of the management team, during which time Executive Search Ireland provides ongoing consultancy & advisory on candidates, based on their interactions with the management team and our consultants and partners, the client extends their offer, which is negotiated and advised on by Executive Search Ireland.
